design chameleon

For the last almost two decades I have been passionately consumed with helping brands of all shapes and sizes with exposure, growth, and staying relevant in an ever changing landscape of advertising in various outlets. I pride myself in being a design chameleon but also knowing when to be BOLD to stand out among competitors.

Currently I am working a contract role through Sedgwick County's Health Department funded by Overdose Data to Action grant to help with the fentanyl issue and beyond in Wichita. They were so backlogged on projects I've also helped with their WIC program, Children's Dental, General Health, Women's Health and launching a rebrand for their Healthy Babies program and Fatherhood programs to name a few. I was also responsible for the development and creation of graphics needed across all multiple (6) brands and platforms that align with the Greater Wichita Partnership and Downtown Wichita's communications strategies.

Prior to the move back to Kansas, I served as one of two graphic designers at Bob Mills Furniture Store's headquarters in Oklahoma City. There, I helped modernize and refresh branding and marketing efforts across 10 Midwest locations. I earned a wealth of design knowledge having also worked in marketing at the University of Central Oklahoma, Hobby Lobby and I also designed for global brands such as the National Rifle Association, TravelOK, Oklahoma City Thunder and Charlotte Hornets to name a few...I spent 17 years in Oklahoma City working in various design firms and on contract work gaining me the valuable insight shaping the designer I am today.

I graduated with honors from Fort Hays State University and grew up on purebred-Angus ranch in Logan County. Growing up in rural northwest Kansas I gained a strong work ethic and the ability to see things differently and be creative in any zip code or population. I am an active member of the national American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), having served as the promotions chair on the OKC board. Most recently, I was selected to help review portfolios for AIGA Wichita and Business Professionals of America at the state leadership conference in Wichita. I am also proud to have shared some of my inspiring wares I designed at ConfidenceCon, a women's empowerment conference in OKC.
